Do I need to fill out an application to apply for one of your jobs?

On our job board, you only need to submit a résumé to be considered for a job.

Is it possible to find out where the job is located?

If our client requests to interview you, we will disclose the company; where it is located and any other information that will help you in preparing for the interview.

Do I have to take a drug test?

Yes. Any employee that we hire is required to pass a drug test.

Do I have to pass a criminal background check?

We perform a criminal background check on all employees, and our clients make the final decision on all hires.

How soon will I be hired?

Your hire date depends on when our client would like you to start working.

Do you offer benefits, such as health insurance and paid time off?

Temporary employees who are with us for more than 60 days, receive paid holidays for New Years day, Memorial day, Labor day, Independence day, Thanksgiving day, and Christmas day if they fall on a regular work day.
Employees have the option to enroll in a limited benefit & self-funded minimum essential coverage (MEC) health plan through us.
Employees can accrue one hour of earned sick leave for every thirty hours worked, starting their first day of work.
In addition, if our client company decides to convert you to their employee, you may become eligible to receive the benefits that they offer.

Can BESTstaff find me another job when my assignment ends?

We will do our best to find you another job if your assignment ends. However, we do evaluate your past performance and may ask our client how you performed with them prior to finding you another job.

If I get hired, will this be a long term position?

All of our jobs are considered temporary and may end at any time. Most of our clients hire through us because they would like to see if the employee is a good fit for their team. If it turns out that our client likes your work skills, they may convert you permanently to their payroll.

How often do I get paid?

We pay weekly unless our client requests otherwise. Payday is every Friday.

How do I receive my weekly paycheck?

All paychecks will be directly deposited, so it is necessary that you have an account with a financial institution.

If we need to hire someone on a temporary basis, what is the first step?

Go to our Employers link and contact us directly so we can gather the information we need to find the right employees.

How often does BESTstaff pay an employee?

BESTstaff pays weekly unless a client requests otherwise. Pay Day is on Fridays.

Can the employee utilize Direct Deposit to get paid?

Yes, we prefer that everyone has their weekly paycheck directly deposited. On rare occasions will we process a manual check.

How long will it take BESTstaff to find a temporary employee(s)?

It depends on the skill set required. We attempt to identify potential candidates within 48 hours of receiving a request.

Can we view the résumé(s) of the candidate(s)?

Yes. BEStstaff will forward you the résumés of potential candidates that we feel best match the skill set requested.

Do we get to interview potential candidates?

Yes. After reviewing the résumés we send, you may request which candidates you wish to interview, and we will work closely with you to schedule interview dates and times that best fit your time frame.

What happens if we decide to hire someone we interview?

We will notify the candidate and have them come into our office and complete the necessary hire paperwork along with taking a drug test and performing a criminal background check. Once everything is completed and approved, we will coordinate a start date and time with you.

What happens if we decide the temporary employee isn't working out?

Notify us, and we will end the assignment of the employee effective immediately.
